ISLAMABAD (Pakistan News): During a ministerial meeting on Jerusalem held in Amman, Jordan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Jordan’s King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein along with other foreign ministers and senior officials.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar conveyed goodwill messages and best wishes from President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and the people of Pakistan to King Abdullah II.
The Jordanian monarch also expressed goodwill sentiments for Pakistan’s leadership and people.
Ishaq Dar appreciated Jordan’s role in the custodianship of the holy sites of Jerusalem and its efforts for peace and stability in the region. The meeting also included discussions on the situation in Palestine, recent developments in the Middle East, and other regional matters.
