New York (Web Desk): WhatsApp is working on introducing a new and interesting feature for Android users, which may allow them to record and send voice notes without even opening the app.
According to the technology website “WABetaInfo,” this feature has been discovered in the WhatsApp Android beta version. However, it is still in its early stages and has not been made available for public testing.
Reports suggest that WhatsApp is developing a new home screen widget, which will appear in a specific size on Android phone screens, and users will be able to resize it according to their convenience.
The widget will feature a simple interface with only a microphone icon and a “tap to record” instruction. Once the user taps it, voice recording will start, and later they will be given the option to send the voice note to a selected contact.
Another potential feature under consideration is a “send to multiple” option, allowing a single voice message to be sent to multiple people at the same time.
