Lahore, Islamabad (Pakistan News) The arrival of clouds in various parts of the country has led to a noticeable decrease in the intensity of heat, while the Meteorological Department has forecast rainfall in several districts of Punjab including Lahore.
According to the Meteorological Department, Lahore is expected to record a minimum temperature of 28°C and a maximum of 37°C, while the current temperature has been recorded at 31°C. The data shows wind speed at 10 km/h and humidity at 52 percent, with chances of rain during the afternoon hours.
Meanwhile, drizzle in different areas of Karachi has made the weather pleasant, with rain reported in areas including Tariq Road, Bahadurabad, Saddar, Khadda Market, Liaquatabad and others.
Similarly, heavy winds accompanied by rain were reported in Abbottabad, while rainfall in Sargodha, Darya Khan, Wazirabad, Sangla Hill, Mianwali and other areas has also reduced the intensity of heat.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (Provincial Disaster Management Authority), rainfall is expected across most districts of Punjab from today and may continue until June 20. The authority has issued alerts to commissioners and deputy commissioners and instructed them to stay prepared for any situation.
The department has also forecast rain in Rawalpindi, Murree, the Galiyat region, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur and several other districts.
