ISLAMABAD (Pakistan News) – According to official sources, it has been revealed that employees in more than 50 federal institutions are receiving additional benefits exceeding 100 percent of their basic salary.
Officials familiar with the salary structure said that in some federal institutions, total salaries are two to three times higher compared to employees of the same grade in ordinary government departments.
Sources said these institutions include the President’s Secretariat, Prime Minister’s Office, National Assembly and Senate Secretariats, superior courts, National Accountability Bureau, intelligence agencies, tax authorities, and various special tribunals.
The report added that employees in these institutions receive various allowances and privileges in addition to their basic salary, which significantly increases their overall income.
