Washington, D.C. (Monitoring Desk) U.S. President Donald Trump has strongly criticized some NATO member countries, particularly Italy, over the issue of Iran.
According to international news agencies, Trump said that the United States has spent trillions of dollars on NATO over several decades, but allied countries have not stood together in times of difficulty.
He alleged that Italy and its leadership are not willing to participate in any possible action against Iran’s nuclear threat.
According to Trump, the United States has defended these countries for a long time, but when it comes to challenges faced by the U.S. or the world, these countries are not available for cooperation, which he said is not the right attitude.
