Violence During Protest in Jaipur, Founder of “Cockroach Janta Party” Attacked

Jaipur (Monitoring Desk) During a protest in the Indian city of Jaipur against leaked exam papers, flaws in the education system, and rising unemployment, the founder of the “Cockroach Janta Party,” Abhijit Deepke, was attacked by unidentified individuals.

According to a viral video, during the protest, a person pulled Abhijit Deepke by the scarf around his neck, after which two individuals slapped and punched him.

Following the incident, his supporters allegedly caught the attackers and subjected them to violence, further escalating the situation.

Later, Abhijit Deepke reacted on social media, saying that such attacks cannot stop his movement and that he will continue peaceful protests. He also reiterated his demand for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

According to police, six individuals involved in the incident have been taken into custody and an investigation has been launched.
