Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is once again in the news following comments by social media users about her appearance after giving birth to her child, while actor Hrithik Roshan has shown his support by liking a post shared in her defense.
Katrina Kaif attended the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration organized by the Ambani family on September 14 along with her husband and actor Vicky Kaushal. After photos and videos from the event went viral on social media, some users commented on her weight and appearance and compared her current pictures with older ones.
Following the reaction, Harsh Veer Jain, who runs the Instagram account “Story Seller Comics,” shared a two-slide post in support of Katrina. He said it was inappropriate to dismiss a woman based on weight gain after childbirth.
The post also stated that Katrina is not only a mother but also runs a successful business while managing her personal and professional responsibilities. According to him, comments about someone’s weight on social media may not affect the person concerned, but such conversations can certainly affect other women.
Hrithik Roshan, who worked with Katrina in “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” and “Bang Bang,” liked the post. However, he did not make any comment or issue a direct statement.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal welcomed a son in November 2025. Since then, several users have defended the actress, saying that physical changes after childbirth are a natural process and that no woman should be criticized on this basis.
Katrina Kaif’s last film was “Merry Christmas,” released in 2024, in which she played the lead role alongside Vijay Sethupathi.
